Jose Mourinho will make his emotional return to Stamford Bridge in midweek when Inter Milan play Chelsea in the Champions League. The outspoken manager has not hidden the personal significance of the visit to his former club, and has revealed that his time with The Blues is “a very important part” of his life.
"The players play on the pitch, I play outside. They are much more important than me, because on the pitch you win matches, not on the bench. But I will be there with my heart fully on either side,” Mourinho said to UEFA.com. “That’s what a professional does. I don’t hide that Chelsea are a very important part of my life."
Inter will attempt to capitalise on their slim 2-1 advantage from the first-leg, to end their absence from the quarterfinals in recent years.
