Barcelona face Valencia on Sunday, in what is seen as a vital match in the club’s attempt to hold on to their La Liga title. The record-breaking side are currently behind leaders Real Madrid on goal difference, and cannot afford to drop any more points as the season draws to a close. Defender Rafael Marquez is aware of the threat Los Che possess, but believes his side can overcome the challenge with the proper focus.
“We are now in the run-in and every game is vital, but Valencia are a strong side and we know that they have great players,” Marquez said on the club’s official website. “This is a key game. We have to go from game-to-game and continue doing well. It will be difficult but now we have to focus hard.”
Barca will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing draw to Almeria the week before.
