CSKA Moscow star midfielder Milos Krasic feels his side have what it takes to overcome Sevilla’s away-goal advantage and reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
“CSKA will go there to win. We’re aware of their strengths, but we’ll try to play our football. We’ll give everything to advance. It won’t be easy, but CSKA have the quality and we just need to keep our discipline,” Krasic, who was named Serbian Footballer of the Year, said to UEFA.com “We could have played better, but it was our first big game of the year. We weren’t in our rhythm like Sevilla so they maybe had a slight advantage."
CSKA impressively drew with the dangerous Sevilla in the first leg, even if they had only friendly matches to prepare for the match, as the Russian league had already ended. With the domestic league back in full swing, Krasic and company will be in better shape to face the La Liga side.
