Arsenal grabbed a dramatic late winner against Hull City on Saturday to remain in the thick of the title race, thanks to an injury-time goal from the in form Nicklas Bendtner. The Danish striker went on to warn opposition teams that his side have the type of character this season to snatch victory even at the last seconds of the game.

“If you give up after 80 minutes then you cannot be a player,” said Bendtner on the club’s official website. “We showed great character as we did against Stoke [City] and we are going to keep on doing this. I always believe until the last minute that we can do it because I have seen it so many times.”

Arsenal are becoming masters of the late goal, having beaten Stoke through last-gasp strikes in late February as well.
