West Ham United could give their chances to remain in the Premier League a huge boost should they manage to overcome the visiting Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight. Gianfranco Zola’s side are currently hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone, just three points above 18th placed Burnley, and just a single point below Mick McCarthy’s side.

"This is a massive game – a true six-pointer – and Wolves will be up for it as we are. They are in good form and got an excellent result at Aston Villa at the weekend,” Zola said on the club’s official website. “They can battle but they can also play good football. We will need to be at our best to get the result but we know what the potential prize is at the end of this week."

The Hammers will need to get out of their four-game losing streak tonight if they are to do their battle against relegation any favours.
