Lyon Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris claims he is not allowing all the praise aimed in his direction to get the better of him. The impressive shot-stopper has been in remarkable form for both club and country this season, making it easy to forget that the Frenchman is still just 23-year-old.
"I really don’t pay any attention to that (the praise)," Lloris said on UEFA.com. "I do the best I can and always try to do better. I’m enjoying it. I’m working hard, trying to be as consistent as possible. Besides, I’m young; maybe people don’t know me at the moment, so it’s just a pleasure to be able to take part in the Champions League, and to play against such big clubs."
Lloris joined Lyon from Nice in 2008, and is the reigning Ligue 1 keeper of the year.
