Manchester United’s evergreen midfielder Ryan Giggs could be on his way to a sensational return to international football, after he revealed he would seriously be considering coming out of international retirement should he be called up by current Wales manager John Toshack.

“It’s something I would have to talk about with John Toshack and Sir Alex Ferguson," said the 36-year-old United veteran. "But at this stage I wouldn’t dismiss the idea. If I had the call I would have to think hard about it. I wouldn’t rule it out,” he said on BBC Sport.

It is believed Aaron Ramsey’s horrific injury for Arsenal is the primary reason why Giggs is seriously considering a return to the Wales setup, which he retired from back in 2007.
