Tottenham Hotspur had to come from a goal down to defeat Fulham in their FA Cup quarter-final, and midfielder Tom Huddlestone believes his side’s improved second half performance had plenty to do with the introduction of David Bentley.

"We seemed to be more energetic in the second half, which gave us the impetus to go on and get chances at goal, and I thought David Bentley was the difference when he came on,” Huddleston said on the club’s official website. "I had to sit in the midfield after Wilson moved to right-back [to replace the injured Vedran Corluka] but the movement and possession of the ball and the little triangles we were playing were second to none.”

Bentley along with Roman Pavlyuchenko have really found their feet in the second half of the season after plenty of rumours linking them with a move away from Spurs in the January transfer window.
