Manchester United skipper Gary Neville played his fourth game in a row in the 4-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, proving that he is well and truly back after suffering a troubling couple of years due to injury. The 35-year-old right-back has been making the most of an injury to defender Wes Brown, showing that he is still capable of competing at the highest level with numerous impressive performances.

I’m really enjoying playing," Neville told MUTV. "With Wes Brown being out, I’ve got my chance and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s an important part of the season and hopefully I can continue to play and we can continue to win.”

In the last four games, Neville has proven he can cope with the world-class talent of AC Milan and Liverpool, and shown he can adapt to the contrasting styles of Fulham and Bolton Wanderers. Should his current form continue, the fiery captain could well be joining Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes in having an opportunity to extend his Man Utd career another season.
