Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal has warned Manchester United that the German giants will score at Old Trafford. Having lost the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie 2-1 in Germany, the English club were happy to have grabbed a precious away goal, which means just a 1-0 win at home would be enough to send them through. Van Gaal warned though it will not be that straightforward for them.

"Manchester have scored here in Munich, so 1-0 is enough for them" van Gaal told Bayern reporters, "But we’ve always scored at least once away from home up to now, that’s why I do believe we’re in with a chance."

The Bundesliga giants disappointed van Gaal by conceding an early goal in the game, but the former Barcelona coach believes that was down to needing to take the right approach mentally, which Bayern needed a while to do.

"We needed ten minutes to get ourselves straight mentally"
