Lille’s up and coming young midfielder Eden Hazard has done little to dampen transfer speculation that has centred upon himself in recent weeks. The 19-year-old Belgian has said that if he were to leave the French club then it would only be for Arsenal or Real Madrid according to Marca. "If one day I leave" stated the youngster, "it will be to Real Madrid or Arsenal."

Hazard has been attracting much interest for his fine displays in Ligue 1 this season and has come to the attention of none other than Zinedine Zidane. The French legend, who now acts as an adviser to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, has stated: "Hazard is a star of the future, and will get even better. I will try to buy him for Real Madrid."

The young Belgian has been flattered by Zidane’s praise and Real Madrid currently appear the front-runners for his signature. However, a declaration which places Arsenal alongside them will also encourage further interest from Arsene Wenger.
