Juventus are being forced to consider alternatives in their pursuit of a coach for next season after Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli declared his love for the Florence side. The Old Lady had considered Prandelli to be someone they could snare to lead them into next season, but this is looking more unlikely by the day.

The Turin giants are therefore revisiting past options, and according to Tuttosport these are Bordeaux boss Laurent Blanc, Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez and Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini. All three look unlikely to leave their present clubs, but the Juventus hierarchy are not prepared to compromise in their pursuit of a world class coach to take them forward.

Tuttosport also believe Juventus could face possible opposition from Real Madrid for Rafael Benitez, but it remains open for debate as to whether the Spaniard’s style would be appreciated at the Bernabeu.
