Stoke City boss Tony Pulis thinks his team are now all but safe from relegation following yesterday’s 2-0 home win over Iain Dowie’s Hull City. The win puts The Potters on 42 points, a massive 15 above the drop zone, and has convinced Pulis his men are safe.

"We can start looking forward to another season in the Premier League now, although I still want us to beat last season’s points tally from this position" Pulis told the club’s official site.

The Potters boss is keen for his side to keep on improving, knowing Premier League status should never be taken for granted.

"We want to build upon this and keep on improving as a club, so it is important that we finish as strongly as possible to have that to take into next season."

Stoke face both Chelsea and Man Utd away in their last six games and so could have a serious say in the title race.
