Liverpool new-boy Maxi Rodriguez, who was signed from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, has been a consistently impressive performer for The Reds in the last few weeks, showing he has adapted quickly to the intensified rigours that the Premier League is widely known for.
“I think he’s doing better and better," Dirk Kuyt said to Liverpoolfc.tv. "For me, Maxi is a quality player and one of the best things is that’s he’s adapted so quickly. He’s been really important in the games he’s played. And him joining us means the squad is a little bit bigger and has definitely improved.”
The Dutchman also admits that although Rodriguez will certainly increase the challenge for places in the Liverpool squad, he accepts that this is important if the club wants to progress and get better.
