Manchester United are on the verge of a mini crisis after two consecutive losses see them in danger of being dumped out of the Champions League, and back in second in the Premier League. Despite the pressure mounting, captain Gary Neville is confident his side will get back on track, starting with Bayern Munich’s visit to Old Trafford in midweek.

"We’ve got a big squad which allows the manager to freshen things up when he needs to so we’re more than happy to be playing big games in the league and Europe,” Neville said on the club’s official website. “Our ground is a difficult place to come to and we’ve got a good record at home this season. It’s a big game for us and we have to be sure we make things difficult for them.

On top of Man Utd’s recent disappointing results, their talisman Wayne Rooney, has been ruled out for a couple of weeks due to injury, making the task to remain in the hunt for silverware this season just that little bit harder.
