Arsenal could be hit with more missing players against Barcelona in their Champions League quarter-final tonight, with midfielder Tomas Rosicky a doubt to feature in the match due to a calf injury sustained in the club’s win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend. The Czech international is still recovering from the effects of a challenge from Karl Henry, who was shown a straight red card for his reckless tackle.

"We will see about him tomorrow," said manager Arsene Wenger on the club’s official website, before claiming the innocuous looking tackle that did the damage was more serious than initially thought, "When you look at his calf, you can see the tackle of Henry was not as innocent as it looked."

With Arsenal needing all the firepower that they can find in order to help overturn Barcelona’s advantage on away goals, Rosicky’s injury is an untimely blow.
