Chelsea have successfully recovered from the disappointment of being dumped out of the Champions League and being knocked off the leader position in the league standings, by registering three consecutive massive wins in the Premier League. The Blues have Florent Malouda to thank in large part to their revival, as the Frenchman has been in top form in the past few weeks.
“Everybody recognises his talent now,” Didier Drogba said on the club’s official website. “It has been difficult for him to change leagues and also he had quite a few injuries at first but every time he has played this season he was good. He is not the type of player who will do many skills but he is really efficient, with simple touches, passes, assists, and he is clever. He reads the game well and that is the kind of player we need in our squad.”
With only five more games remaining in the league, Chelsea will be hoping Malouda continues his impressive run of form, as they attempt to wrestle the Premier League title away from Manchester United.
