Nemanja Vidic is fully aware Manchester United’s recent back-to-back defeats have had a significant impact on the club’s ambitions for more silverware this season, but is urging his team-mates not to allow the disappointment affect their mentality on Wednesday, when they host Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
“We were down after the first Bayern game, but we can’t allow ourselves to be down again," Vidic told MUTV." We need to face facts that we have been disappointing in the last two games, but we also need to keep our heads up and not feel sorry for ourselves. We must make sure we finish this season well."
Man Utd are looking to bank on the comforts of Old Trafford tomorrow night, as they aim to overturn a 2-1 deficit.
