Clemente has vast experience including spells in charge of Marseille, Tenerife, Espanyol and at national team level Serbia. The 60-year-old was most recently coaching Real Murcia.
Valladolid will be hoping Clemente’s experience and La Liga know-how will be enough to ensure their survival in the top flight.
