Young Le Mans midfielder Herold Goulon is attracting the attention of Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli according to a report in Foot+. The 21-year-old’s contract with the Ligue 1 club is due to expire in June and he has yet to sign an extension, making him an even more appealing prospect.
Goulon only joined Le Mans in 2009, having been released by English club Middlesbrough without making a single appearance. However, since then he has undoubtedly improved and has clocked up appearances for France’s Under-21 team.
The midfielder may be unwilling to head abroad again quite so soon after his English adventure and that could put Paris Saint-Germain in the driving seat for any move.
