Nicklas Bendtner has been in fine form since his return from injury, and has been vital in Arsenal’s push for Premier League glory. The Dane has banged in eight goals in his last ten starts for The Gunners, a feat that he puts down to his position as an out-and-out striker rather than on the flank, where he was placed in the past.
"I think that has meant a lot more goals for me,” Bendtner said on the club’s official website regarding his positional change. “If I had scored every goal that I missed against Burnley then my goal tally would mean I have scored two more goals than the games I have played since my injury. That would have meant a lot but things happen and as a player you have ups and downs and overall I am pleased."
Not only has Bendtner been a reliable source of goals for Arsenal this season, he has also developed an uncanny ability to snatch results for his club right at the very end of matches.
