Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes Wednesday’s North London Derby presents the perfect remedy to his side’s shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Portsmouth.
“We couldn’t have a better game now," said the Spurs boss on the club’s official website. "If I had to choose a game, I’d choose Arsenal at home for the next one. Sunday was a bad day, but what can you do? Life is full of highs and lows. That was a big low, but we’ve had plenty of highs this season. The mark is how you pick yourselves up.”
After a run of seven wins in eight matches in all competitions, Spurs have been on a bit of a slump in their last two games, losing to Sunderland and to Pompey. They will have to recover quickly against Arsenal, if they are to continue their push for the final Champions League spot.
