Manchester Untied youngster Rafael Da Silva took plenty of criticism for his sending off against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, but first-choice left-back Patrice Evra is confident the Brazilian will emerge stronger from the experience, and go on to become one of the club’s best right-backs.
“It is a good experience for Rafael and he will definitely be a better player because of what happened," the French defender said on the league’s official website. “I know Rafael’s mentality. When he gets some experience he will be different class. I am sure about him. He has a lot of hunger. This was just part of the development process. He will go on to become one of the best right-backs Manchester United have ever had."
At just 19 years of age, Rafael has been thrown into some of Man Utd’s biggest matches this season, and despite his recent setback against the German giants, has shown he is fully capable of mixing it up with some of football’s greatest players.
