Real Madrid Sergio Ramos has urged his side to forget about last weekend’s disappointment against Barcelona, and focus on their next challenge in Almeria. The defender has also been quick to warn his team of complacency, despite the opposition’s lack of experience in Spain’s top flight.

"We need to capitalize on the opportunities we are given. Almeria haven’t spent many years in Primera Division, but they always show up to play and we have a lot of respect for them,” Ramos said on the club’s official website. “They aren’t by any means a pushover, but we have our weapons and hope to earn the win."

Real Madrid cannot afford to drop anymore points in the race to win La Liga, especially after archrivals Barca extended their lead at the top of the table to six points last night.
