Aston Villa youngster Nathan Delfouneso reveals his extreme delight at scoring his first ever Premier League goal, a vital 82nd winner for his side The 19-year-old came on as a substitute in the match, and poked home the deciding goal of the game, giving the Villains a vital win, as they continue their chase for fourth place.

"I’ve been waiting for that for a very long time. I’ve scored goals in other competitions but it means such a lot to score in the Premier League,” Delfouneso claimed on the club’s official website. "For it to be such an important goal makes the moment even better. It was my first top-flight goal and it was an important one in the context of the season too.”

Positioned sixth in the Premier League, Villa are currently trailing fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur, who next play Manchester United, by six points.
