Chievo defender Mario Yepes has declared he will be playing for AC Milan next season, after confirming a deal had been agreed with the club to France Football. The 34-year-old Colombian international is expected to be offered a two-year contract by the Italian giants.
“I had a lot of contacts but I can confirm that next year I’ll be at AC Milan, that’s for sure,” Yepes said. “We await the end of the Championship before formalizing any deals,” continued the former Paris Saint-Germain player, before going on to express his hope to finish his playing days with the Milan giants, “I hope it will be okay for the rest of my career.”
The veteran centre-back has will be leaving an improved Chievo side, that narrowly missed relegation last season.
