Real Madrid’s Fernando Gago admits his side were very impressive in the victory over Valencia at the weekend, but insists the club must have nothing else in mind but the next match, as Los Blancos continue their chase of league leaders Barcelona and the La Liga title.

"We played a great first half against Valencia. We pressured well and played good football. We were calm and patient, which is how we need to be in our remaining matches,” Gago explained on the club’s website. “We are happy with the recent win, but [Real] Zaragoza is the only team on our mind now. It will be a physical match. They have some good players, but we are only concerned about the three points in play."

Real Madrid are trailing Barca by just a single point now, keeping the title race interesting as the two sides refuse to let up.
