Tottenham Hotspur’s bid for fourth place in the Premier League have been given a timely boost with news that injury-victim Jermaine Jenas could be available for selection sooner rather than later.

The midfielder completed 45 minutes of a friendly match against West Ham United on Tuesday at the Spurs training ground, signs that the talented player could be ready to be back playing for the first-team, since being sidelined with a groin problem in early February.

Spurs, who are currently holding on to the coveted fourth spot in the Premier League, will be welcoming all additions to the squad, as they will still have to face challenging trips to Old Trafford and Eastlands to face Manchester United and Manchester City respectively, before the season ends.
