Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Alex Song could be available for Manchester City’s visit to The Emirates on Saturday. The young midfielder has missed The Gunners’ last three matches due to an inflamed cartilage, but could be ready to face the Champions League hopefuls should he pass a late fitness test.

Maybe Song [could be off the injury list],” Wenger said on the club’s official website. “He has a test tomorrow and we’ll see. He is a question mark.” Aside from the Cameroonian’s availability, the Frenchman, admitted the news isn’t very bright for his other injured players, saying, “Apart from that, nobody is back. Andrey Arshavin is out. Everyone else – Gallas, Fabregas, Almunia, Denilson – is still out too.”

Although Arsenal are long shots to win the title, being six points off the pace, the weekend’s match against Man City will prove to be massive game for The Citizens, who are chasing fourth spot in the Premier League.
