According to France Football, Grenoble youngster Sofiane Feghouli, is set to join La Liga side Valencia in the summer. The 20-year-old, despite managing to play only five matches this season in Ligue 1, has succeeded in keeping the interest of the Spanish club and is ready to make the step up.
The young midfielder is now looking forward to a chance to play in the Champions League next season, as Valencia are currently third in the La Liga standings, and are in a very strong position to qualify for the prestigious European competition. With Grenoble rock-bottom in Ligue 1, Feghouli is ready to make the leap to greener pastures.
“They (Valencia) are a great European club,” Feghouli said on France Football. “Valencia will surely be in the Champions League next season. I’ll play with great world class players. I will continue to learn and grow with them. I have an incredible opportunity to join this club. I think the playing style of Valencia and La Liga suits me more. It is a very exciting new adventure for me.”
