Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has urged his team not to slip-up in their final three Premier League games as fourth place has not entirely gone. The Slovak centre back remains of the opinion that Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, both ahead of Liverpool in the table, could drop points.
"This season we have been unlucky," Skrtel told the club’s official site, "but there are still three more games and we have to get as many points as we can. It’s important to win every game."
Liverpool travel to relegation threatened Burnley on Sunday, before meeting Chelsea at home and then heading to Hull to conclude what has been a disappointing league campaign. It is likely the majority of thoughts at Anfield are instead on the job of overturning a 1-0 deficit against Atletico Madrid in the semi-final of the Europa League.
