With Wolverhampton Wanderers getting fined £25,000 by the Football Association in February for naming a weakened against Manchester United, Fulham have come into question after they made eight changes to their squad in preparation for the club’s vital second leg semi-final Europa League match on Thursday. Manager Roy Hodgson however, insists he would be “amazed” if his side were to receive any sort of repercussions for their actions.

"The Premier League will make the decisions it wants to make, all I can do is answer the question on whether we have a case to answer for letting them down or favouring the opponents by fielding a weaker team,” the Fulham boss said on BBC Sport following his side’s 2-1 defeat to Everton. “I can stand here quite happily knowing that we haven’t done that."

The Cottagers could reach the Europa League finals on Thursday, should they manage to beat Hamburg at Craven Cottage.
