Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti believes Barcelona could be trying to influence the referee ahead of their massive Champions League second leg semi-final match on Wednesday night at the Camp Nou by stating they will “fight tooth and nail” on their home ground. The 64-year-old isn’t getting too worried by the Catalan giants’ attempts however.
"They’re doing this because it’s a Champions League semi-final,” the Italian said on the club’s official website. “The Spaniards want to reach the final and they will try to put a bit of pressure on the referee, which I think is quite normal."
The two sides clash on Wednesday night, with Barca needing to overturn a 3-1 deficit in order to have any chance of defending their Champions League title.
