According to France Football, Olympique Marseille midfielder Benoit Cheyrou could be on his way out of the Ligue 1 side currently inhabiting the top spot in the standings. The Frenchman has enjoyed quite a successful season, and is deliberating a possible move abroad to tackle a new challenge.
The 28-year-old has scored seven goals and made six assists in 37 appearances for Marseille this campaign, impressing enough to garner interest from the likes of La Liga’s Sevilla and the Bundesliga’s Hamburg.
OM’s vice-captain, who joined the club from Auxerre back in 2007, has been steadily improving his outputs for the team over three seasons, and could be rewarded with a chance to prove his skills at a different level.
