Inter Milan parked the bus in front of their goal in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, and gained passage into the final despite losing 1-0 on the night. With a 3-1 advantage to take with them from the first leg, the Italian side were happy to showcase their defensive capabilities throughout the 90 minutes, a tactic that club president Massimo Moratti, felt was spot on.

"[Jose] Mourinho was phenomenal again tonight and the boys were marvellous. They knew what to do in every moment, they did very well,” he said on the club’s official website. “They played in a very intelligent way. Compliments to all of them. I hope the Inter fans are as happy as I am."

Inter Milan will face Bayern Munich in the final, which we played at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu.
