According to France Football, Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is keen to keep Eidur Gudjohnsen at White Hart Lane after his loan deal ends in the summer. The striker joined the club in the January transfer window from Monaco, and has proven to be a quality addition the Spurs squad.
It is believed however, that negotiations to keep the 31-year-old on a permanent basis will have to wait until the end of the season, when Tottenham have sorted out whether they will be playing in the Champions League or not.
The former Chelsea and Barcelona player, who has found a pertinent role with the North London club, has featured in 11 matches for Spurs since his transfer, and has scored two goals.
