Chelsea dispatched of a lifeless Liverpool side 2-0 yesterday at Anfield, to give the club an opportunity to seal the title at their very own Stamford Bridge next weekend – a prospect that midfielder Frank Lampard is relishing.

"It would be nice to do it in front of our own fans," said the England international to BBC Sport, before reiterating that nothing has been won yet. "Obviously Manchester United have a tough game but we’ll never go that far, we have a big game next week.”

Chelsea will be hosting struggling Wigan Athletic at the weekend, with a win ensuring the club’s first Premier League title since 2006. A victory would also end Manchester United’s hopes of winning a record fourth-consecutive league title.
