Inter Milan completed the first hurdle of their bid to a historic treble, by beating AS Roma 1-0 in the Coppa Italia last night. The Nerrazurri must now see off the challenge of the same opponents in the Serie A title race, with only two matches left in the season, before flying to Madrid to play Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.

The first dream has become reality. Inter are the team of the moment. We are doing very well. Now we have to fight until the end and win two more titles, and we will fight for these two dreams,” Mourinho said on the club’s official website.

With the capture of his first Italian Cup, the Portuguese tactician couldn’t help but gloat at his newest addition to his impressive trophy haul. “Now I can say that I have won all the national competitions in every country that I have coached in,” Mourinho said, before sharing his thoughts on possibly winning Europe’s biggest club tournament for the second time, “The Champions League? It’s a beautiful dream.”
