Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed on their official website that talented youngster Gareth Bale will certainly be plying his trade with the North London club next season, after the Welshman signed a new four-year contract to take him to 2014 with the Premier League fourth placers.
The 20-year-old who plays both as a defender and a winger on Spurs’ left side, has proven particularly impressive in the second half of the season, especially in the club’s vital victories over “big four” sides Chelsea and Arsenal back in April.
Bale, who joined Tottenham as a 17-year-old Southampton prodigy in 2007, is finally showcasing why he is considered one of the brightest young stars in the Premier League. With his gifted skill and recently acquired maturity, Spurs are very fortunate to have the coveted Welshman in their squad.
