As Fulham prepare to play their biggest match of their history in the Europa League final against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer took time to relive one of the most dramatic matches en route to the Cottagers’ final birth.

You would normally write a movie script about it, but to actually experience it and live it is very special,” said the Australian international about the massive 4-1 victory over Juventus at Craven Cottage earlier in the tournament. “It’s something that will definitely stay with me for the rest of my life, as well as the rest of the players. We’ll definitely look back with fond memories."

Schwarzer will be hoping to emerge victorious in his second Europa League final, after going home defeated with Middlesbrough back in 2006.
