Manchester United striker and 2010 Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year winner Wayne Rooney, debuted as a 16-year-old budding star for Everton, and has since grown to be a mature goal scoring machine.
The English international, despite being only 24 years old, has already eight years of experience under his belt. And although his career is still far from its twilight, the Red Devil is already thinking about management when his playing days are over.
"I started doing my coaching badges this year, and probably did not do as many classes as I would have liked. Hopefully I can continue them next year,” Rooney said on the league’s official website. "I love football and enjoy football – I can’t see myself running a restaurant, I want to be in football.”
