Inter president Massimo Moratti has said that he simply doesn’t know whether Jose Mourinho will continue at the club next season as speculation builds over a possible move to Real Madrid. The Inter supremo is keen to keep hold of the Portuguese tactician, but can’t yet say for sure that he will be in the dugout at the San Siro next year.
"Mourinho has a contract with us for many years", said Moratti. "We’ll see what happens. I remain [at Inter] forever, but I do not know if [Mourinho] leaves after the Madrid final."
The Portuguese boss secured Serie A over the weekend and is now on the verge of leading Inter to a historic treble by winning the Champions League to go with the Coppa Italia which was won too. Already a legend with the Nerazzurri, Mourinho may feel that, having won every trophy on offer in Italy and restored Inter to the pinnacle of the continent, his job at the San Siro is done.
