Barcelona vice-president Rafael Yuste has revealed that the club are in negotiations with Valencia and Arsenal over the possible transfer of David Villa and Cesc Fabregas respectively. He claims the Catalan giants are optimistic of coming to an agreement over the two primary targets, as both players have shown interest to join the record-breaking side.
Villa’s transfer is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the week, or the next at the latest, while negotiations with the Gunners are expected to be much more drawn out and complicated.
Although both Valencia and Arsenal will be doing all in their power to keep the their vital stars at the club, Yuste claims on Ona FM, “The two players want to come, and that makes it easier.”
