Although Barcelona forward Thierry Henry has denied that any move to the MLS this summer would be made, sources in the United States of America have claimed that an agreement has been made between the Arsenal legend and the New York Red Bulls.
The France captain endured his worst ever season since 1998/99, scoring only four goals and making three assists in 27 matches played in all competitions. The disappointing tally came as a shock, especially since Henry netted 26 just the campaign before.
The 32-year-old’s steep drop in productivity has many speculating that he will finally complete his widely publicised move to the MLS. Although the New York Red Bulls have not confirmed any agreement being made, reports are claiming Henry will be plying his trade in America sooner rather than later.
