Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has claimed highly coveted young striker Sergio Aguero will likely be staying at the club next season. According to reports from France Football, despite plenty of interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, he claims the 21-year-old is “happy here and we plan to keep him.”

The young Argentinean international has a massive €60M release clause on his contract that will likely thwart any approaches from interested teams. Cerezo claims however, if any club wants pay this clause, then we will gladly negotiate with them.

Aguero has scored 20 goals or more and has made at least ten assists in his last three seasons with Atletico Madrid. And at just 21 years old, it is no surprise why he is currently one of the most coveted players in the world.
