Real Madrid are expected to move quickly for Inter's Brazilian full back Maicon, just as soon as Jose Mourinho settles into the coach's seat. The Portuguese boss is believed to have told the Bernabeu hierarchy that Maicon would be the perfect addition. The Brazil star will not come cheaply though.
While Inter are keen to resist the sale of one of their best players, a bid in the region of €40M would surely prove too good to turn down. And according to Corriere dello Sport, €40M is the price the Italians are putting on Maicon's head.
The Brazilian himself meanwhile would be happy to continue his working relationship with Jose Mourinho and personal terms are considered by the Madrid camp to be less of a problem than agreeing a fee with Inter themselves.
