Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola will meet with club officials, including transfer supremo Txiki Begiristain this week to discuss arrivals at the Camp Nou, and has already made it clear he does not wish to see a soap opera in the summer transfer window.
Guardiola is bidding to bring Cesc Fabregas to the Catalan capital to add to the already signed David Villa. The exit door should be busy too, with the possibility of exits for Yaya Toure and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Barca hierarchy may though, according to Sport, have to tell Guardiola that Fabregas will only arrive at a fair price. Sources close to the club indicate that despite their desperation to 'repatriate' the former Barcelona youth teamer, the Spaniards will only pay a price that they consider to be fair.
Fabregas' future is tied up with that of Yaya Toure too. While Guardiola would like to keep the Ivory Coast star, the coach is willing to consent to his departure, but only in the case that Fabregas arrives as a replacement.
