According to reports on French paper L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain will have somewhere in the range of €20M to €30M to spend in the current summer transfer window. It is believed the club are prepared to free up extra finances as well by getting rid of highly-paid individuals, such as former Chelsea player Mateja Kezman, and former Barcelona attacker Ludovic Giuly.

The Paris club are believed to be tracking Bordeaux’s Alou Diarra, Real Madrid’s Mahamadou Diarra, and Juventus’ Tiago as their primary targets of the summer. The trio, who are incidentally all former players of Olympique Lyon, are all in uncertain situations with their respective clubs, and PSG is aiming to capitalise.

Paris Saint-Germain finished last season with a disappointing 13th place finish, prompting widespread agreement that a need for change is necessary at the capital club.
