Israeli youngster Assulin Gai looks set to leave Barcelona, having failed to extend his contract, which ends on June 30. The 19-year-old was promoted into the first team last season, but failed to make enough of an impression on manager Pep Guardiola to have his current deal renewed.
Gai’s talent is highly regarded elsewhere however, with reports claiming Premier League sides Manchester City and Arsenal are very interested in acquiring the services of the talented attacker. Real Madrid are linked with the midfielder as well, proving that the youngster’s abilities are of real quality.
Holding the record of youngest ever player to feature for the senior Israeli team, Gai’s future looks certain to be bright. It also seems however, that it will most likely be away from Barcelona.
