Although Yaya Toure is widely believed to be on his way to the Premier League, with Manchester City looking like his possible destination, Barcelona have reiterated their stance that the Ivory Coast star will not be sold on the cheap.

Toure, who has been the subject of a bid of between €20-25M from Manchester City already in this transfer window, is rated by the Catalan giants as in the same price bracket as Cesc Fabregas. Thus a price tag of at least €35M has been been slapped on the midfielder.

"He’s a great player who has demonstrated his commitment to the club, by for example learning Catalan in two years", said president Joan Laporta to Barcelona based daily Sport. "We would like him to stay, but he has finally told us that he wants to leave. Now we have to find a solution."

Premier League moneybags Manchester City represent that solution, but the Camp Nou giants want €35M and not a penny less.
